Lindy Flowers is AGENDA’s stunning cover model, and in this issue, stars in an incredible swimsuit editorial, “A Midsummer’s Daydream”—celebrating women, and interview where she shares her wisdom about the industry in “Talking Career with Agenda’s Cover Model Lindy Flowers.” The Cover was photographed by Cathy Cunningham, styled by Sabrina Feldman, and makeup and hair by Alma Mahmood. Lindy’s daughter Hailey, a dancer and Miss Junior Teen Nevada United States 2019 & 1st Runner Up Miss California’s Outstanding Teen 2021, joined the fun with her editorial “Sun-Kissed!”

Agenda-Midsummer-2021-coverAsh Gupta debuts his latest and greatest section called VERIFIED, featuring Indian music sensation and podcast host Monica Dogra in an eye-popping fashion spread. And meet the beautiful Manasvi, who is featured in the “Out of the Woods” editorial.

Rebecca Taylor gives us a preview of her Fall 2021 collection: Romanticism Redefined . . . “with resolved gestures, newfound romance manifests in eyelet, pleats, and embroidery in robust interactions.” The collection is an ode to the simplicity of romance.

Kaylene Peoples, editor-in-chief and Fashion Talk columnist does a piece that delves into the practice of waist training in “Corsetry & Morality: The History of Tightlacing.”

With the changing weather, Shahada Karim guides us through her review of May Lindstrom, SMD Cosmetics, and Bynacht in her article, “Seasonal Saviors.” The piece “Introducing Bond No. 9,” talks about a new line of incredible body creams and candles. Karim explores the Rose Hermès collection, featuring every shade of pink in the form of blush, lip products, and brushes. And now is not the time to neglect our health. Zac Baldwin reviews a series of movies made from best-selling books. Authors include Stephen King, David Baldacci, and Elmore Leonard. Sheryl Aronson (Arting Around) interviews BlacKkKlansman‘s Academy Award-winning screenwriter Kevin Willmott.

Aaron Potts (APOTTS) and Rodney Epperson (EPPERSON) of Black Design Collective talk about their inspirations and their recent creations in the articles “APOTTS: Designed to Make Us Take Pause” and “The REBIRTH of Epperson.” And celebrity stylist Ty-Ron Mayes (Fashion Whisperer) talks about athleisure wear and new ways to style sweatshirts in “The Sweatshirt Goes Next Level Fierce!”

The Midsummer 2021 issue has a frenzy of fashion with runway from Milan, Berlin, and Jakarta, featuring designers Hugo Boss, ThreeOnes, Xevi Fernandez, Outsiders Division, and Intoart x and John Smedley’s capsule collection. Last but never least is Fashion Archives. We open Agenda’s time capsule with runway from Sally La Pointe (2013) and Made in Africa by Arise (2012), featuring top African designers, including images from the performance by English pop vocalist Leona Lewis, all photographed by Arun Nevader.
