Summer is here and we’re ready to have some fun in the sun with you. Maybe you’re planning to take a trip or take up a new hobby. Either way, this is the season of leisure, barbecues, and adventure! Sheryl Aronson interviews platinum selling recording artist Jeffrey Osborne in her column Arting Around. Designer and co-founder Kevan Hall of Black Design Collective talks about a new community, designed to aid and support Black designers. Their inaugural event awarded a $10,000.00 scholarship to a worthy design student, and they honored Academy Award-winner costume designer Ruth E. Carter.

The Fashion Archives is all about trendsetting by the celebrities of the past. We discover the 1920 fashion divas Joan Crawford, Greta Garbo, Louise Brooks, and more! Some of those styles are still a big part of our wardrobe today.
