Purchase Magazine | Digital

After launching our first print issue in 2014, we’ve put out two special editions and two collector’s issues; and for what seemed liked the popup magazine, a total of nine regular print issues from October 2017 through December 2019. For the New Year, we are proud to release Issue #10 as AGENDA goes monthly. Ash Gupta photographed our cover from the editorial “2020: Embrace Your Differences” with designs by Jeff Hardin of IV Nation Collection.

In this issue, the much talked about movie Harriet is highly featured as director Kasi Lemmons is interviewed by Sheryl Aronson (Arting Around). And Tony Award-winner Paul Tazewell talks about his costume designs in both Harriet and Hamilton.

The Black Design Collective features celebrity designer TJ Walker of Cross Colours. Shahada Karim tackles beauty maintenance with her article “Skin and Aging.” Also “New Skin, New Year” includes tips by Esthetition Jennifer Christie. Karim also helps us choose lasting products for eyeliner, lip tints, and mascara in “Sweat Proof Beauty.”

Fashion Talk points out the differences between muumuus, tent dresses, and kaftans titled “Tent Dress, Kaftan, or Just Another Muumuu.” Melanie Wise interviews Best Selling author and medical medium Anthony William in the first of a three-part series in Wise Remedies, “Racing Down the Road to Health With Anthony William, Part 1.” Enjoy fashion runway collections by the combined shows BECOMELY and INKRUSH during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, while activewear from RHIND Collections (New Zealand FW) sets the tone for 2020. Agenda looks back at costume design, profiling the highly decorated Edith Head in Fashion Archives.
